I see academic coaching as centred around a young person’s personal development. Using my experience and training in youth mental health, I help them build a personalised toolkit.
I aim to provide a safe space for young people to have their voices heard. Together, we can then focus on developing the skills required for them to achieve all their academic goals.
After an initial assessment, coaching sessions typically focus on
Exams: managing anxiety and putting in individualised study habits
Building self-esteem and confidence as the study skills result in academic achievement
Developing emotional self-regulation and effective problem-solving skills
